Salem cross country teams competed at Carbondale on Saturday September 11th.
The boys led by freshman Caden Beer 18th place, took 4th place as a team out of 11 teams. Alek Bandy placed 19th, Branson Pappas 27th, Ricardo Salgado 30th and Jacob Ware was 41st.
In the girls race freshman Breanna Thurman came in 14th to lead the girls team. Ivy Donoho was22nd, Alia Laird 37th, Jaedyn Goostree 44th and Madison Smith finished 48th. The girls finished 5th in the team standings.
The Wildcats run this Saturday at The Olney Invitational.
