Two people remained in the Marion County Jail on Sunday after being arrested on outstanding warrants.
Salem Police arrested 39-year-old Brandon Sloan of Tulsa Street in Salem on a Marion County warrant on a pending possession of controlled substance charge and on a Clinton County warrant for failure to appear on a conviction for criminal trespass to land. Bond totals $30,000.
39-year-old Joshua Lucas of South Locust in Centralia was arrested on a petition to revoke his probation on an aggravated battery to police officer conviction. He remains in custody in lieu of $3,000 bond.
45-year-old Chard Harmon of South 12th in Herrin was arrested by sheriff’s deputies on an outstanding Marion County failure to appear warrant in a home repair fraud conviction. He posted $1,000 cash bond and was released.
40-year-old Justin Heiple of Sugg Street in Odin was arrested by sheriff’s deputies for misdemeanor attempted possession of cannabis. He was released after posting bond.
The Marion County Sheriff’s Department is investigating the theft of a single axle trailer from a home on U.S. 50 in rural Iuka. It is believed to have been taken sometime Friday night or early Saturday morning.
