The Marion County Sheriff’s Department is looking for the driver of a car that crashed their vehicle on Route 37 north of Alma and left the scene.
Kinmundy-Alma Fire Chief Kevin Day says a northbound car apparently ran off the left side of the road into the yard of the Kevin Diss home where it overturned on the driver’s side after crashing into a truck in Diss’s driveway.
The Diss family woke up to find the wreckage around 5:30 Monday morning.
The fire department was called because it was feared someone might be trapped under the vehicle, which was not the case.
Day says there was heavy damage to both vehicles.
