The SI Bandits took 2nd place at the Father’s Day Classic in Mascoutah. The Bandits went 4-2 in bracket play and were 5-3 overall.
They opened play with a 10-5 win over the Illinois Espirit. They then beat the SI Aftershock 3-1. Salem’s Emma Gregg had a hit, RBI and run scored and Breanna Thurman added a hit.
The Bandits beat the Swarm 4-3 in the 3rd bracket game with Thurman getting the game winning hit in the bottom of the 7th. She had 3 hits and scored as well.
The Bandits lost to Team Impact 9-4. Gregg doubled.
They then beat the Swarm 4-1 to advance to the title game. Thurman and Gregg both ahd 2 hits. Thurman was the complete game winning pitcher allowing 4 hits.
In the title game the Bandits lost to Team Impact 10-1. Addie Lampe hit her first ever home run.
