The SC Cougars are 22-3 and will look for the school’s 3rd ever trip to the Super Sectionals when they travel to Louisville to take on North Clay at 4:30 this afternoon.
The Cougars advanced with their semifinal win at Okaw Valley 7-2 while the Cardinals beat Cumberland at home 3-0. The winner advances to the SIU Super Sectional next week where they will get the winner of Goreville and Steeleville.
In 2a sectional baseball finals today, Columbia hosts Freeburg in a Cahokia battle and Harrisburg hosts Carterville. Triad will travel to Charleston in 3a. And in 4a, O’Fallon is at home with Joliet West.
