The South Central Cougars will take their 20-3 record to Lions Field this afternoon at 3pm for their 1a regional title against Altamont. SC trailed in their opener Saturday to Red Hill 4-2 in the bottom of the sixth when the Cougars would get 3 runs including the go-ahead double from Spencer Johannes to help them avoid the upset. Sam Rubin drove in 2 with RBI also from Beau Jolliff and Sebastian Cowger. The Indians advanced on Saturday with a 1-0 win over Brownstown.

In 3a, Highland at Charleston, Herrin goes to Mascoutah, Marion at Mt Vernon, Chatham goes to Mt Zion, Mattoon at Triad.
