The Salem 10u finished 2nd at the Cape Girardeau Tournament this weekend falling to the Jackson Tribe in the title game 3-2. Kai Graham drove in a run for Salem. Zane Applegate finished 2-3 with a run scored. Kellen Nix added a single.
Salem knocked off the SI Bombers in the semifinal 12-4. Owen Tennyson and Rhett Starnes drove in 2 runs each. Also with RBI were Benny Bryan, Applegate and Drew Consolino.
Salem went 2-0 on Saturday with a win over the Missouri Bulls 8-4. Nix led Salem with 2 RBI. They also beat the Midwest Thunder 12-7. Starnes drove in 2 and Tennyson added another RBI.
