The Salem Lady Wildcats clinched 2nd place in the Cahokia Conference with their 11-8 softball win over Breese Central. An 8 run sixth inning included 3 walks, a grand slam by Olivia Paulson and a solo shot by Makenna Smith. Ally Roberts hit her first varsity homer in the 7th. Delaney Kell was the winning pitcher.
The Salem JV dropped their game with Central 7-1.
