The SC Cougars saw no hangover after winning their #1000th game in program history last week as they swept a double header at Altamont to improve to 14-3 on the season. SC won the opening game 3-1. Beau Jolliff drove in a pair of runs with Sam Rubin adding an RBI. Spencer Johannes was the complete game winner allowing 5 hits and no earned runs with 5 strikeouts.
SC finished the sweep with a 6-5 scoring 2 runs in the top of the sixth to take the lead. Brandt Hiestand and Aiden Dodson homered in the win. Sebastian Cowger also drove in a run. Beau Jolliff and Hiestand combined to get the win on the mound.
SC will host Dieterich at Lions Field Monday afternoon.
