Delaney Kell allowed just one hit as the Salem Lady Cats dominate Wesclin 8-0. Kell also homered in the win, Avery Bass went 3-4 and RBI also came from Mya Susmena and Makenna Smith.
The SC Lady Cougars swept a double header at home against Altamont winning the conference game 3-1 and the non-conference game was a 22-0, no-hit rout. On the day, SC’s Sydnee Garrett hit 3 more home runs increasing her school record to 9. She was the winning pitcher in the conference win. She also singled to go along with a long ball and drove in 2. Brooklyn Garrett finished with 2 hits including a double.
In the blowout, Halle Smith earned the no-hit win. She also had 4 hits and drove in 2, Sydnee drove in 5 with her 2 home runs, Laney Webster homered and drove in 5 as well. Brooklynn drove in a run. SC is 14-3 overall and 3-1 in the NTC. They are scheduled play at home against Greenville this afternoon.
