Liberty Appliance on West Main Street in Salem held a grand reopening on Friday to mark an expanded showroom and the addition of bedding products.
Owner Andrew Dice explains the additional offerings.
“We brought in Serta mattresses along with their adjustable bases that they make,” Dice said. “Between mattresses, adjustable bases, pillows and bed toppings, that’s the big thing that we added, as well as more space to bring in different models of appliances. We added roughly about 20 feet onto our existing showroom, giving us more space for that, and then moving our inventory to a different warehouse.”
Dice says there was also some work done to the outside windows of the building and minor renovation to the original showroom.
This is the sixth year in business for Liberty Appliance, their fifth in their current building.
Dice says the building prides itself on servicing what they sell and working with customers to make sure they get the product that best meets their needs.
Dice co-owns the business with his parents Josh and Mary Alice Dice.
The grand reopening included a ribbon cutting with the Greater Salem Chamber of Commerce.
