The Centralia City Council will be asked Monday night to pass a resolution to start the process of establishing a Sales Tax and Revenue or STAR bond District within the City of Centralia.  The program generally includes retail and hotel/hospitality uses along with related infrastructure and site improvements.

The resolution would set a November 19th public hearing for public comments and consider the proposed district and preliminary development plan.

The council will also be asked to approve a bid from Furlong Excavating for lead service line inventory not to exceed $100,000.  This is the second round of the project that is largely supported by grant funds.  Up to 1,000 locations could be checked under the second round of the program.

The council will also be asked to approve a resolution to approve the disbursement of funding per development agreement from the Raccoon Lake TIF to Meadow Woods Holdings, LLC in the amount of $273,790.

The meeting begins at six Monday night at Centralia City Hall.
