The St Mary/Willow Grove Wildcards dropped just their 2nd game of the season on Saturday, both of them have come to a juggernaut Carterville team, as they fell 5-0 at Rotary Park. Devyn Dodillet-Tomlianovich was very good in the loss as she allowed 3 earned runs on 6 hits and struck out 11. She added a hit at the plate along with Destiny Black.
Patoka is 11-2 after winning 2 of 3 games over the weekend. Adley Martin went 3-3 to lead them over Joppa 19-0 and drove in 3 runs along with Mabree Phelps and Gentry Carbaugh. Jessa Thalman stole a pair of bases. Phelps was the winning pitcher giving up nothing over 3 innings of work for the short game no hitter. Patoka also beat Massac County 6-5. Thalman, Charlee Murray, Phelps, Clair Payne and Khloe Cain all had a hit. With Thalman Carbaugh, Phelps, Maybree Goldsboro and Cain drove in runs. Clair Payne pitched in the win along with Murray and Phelps. The only loss they took was the Herrin 11-0. Thalman, Carbaugh and Khloe Wadkins had a Patoka hit.
Spring Garden won the Bethel Round Robin with wins over Central City and Bethel.
