The Salem Lady Wildcats picked up a big team victory at the Carlyle Girls Golf Invitational, shooting a 322 to win the tournament.

It was a record-setting day for Salem, with two Lady Cats breaking the tournament’s 18-hole record just minutes apart.

Reagan Shuler fired an even-par 72 to set the new record, only to have teammate Mya Russell break it again, finishing with a one-under 71.

Russell was the individual tournament champion, with Shuler taking third.

Also for Salem, Brenna Hays shot an 88 to finish 14th, Brynn Kessler was 16th with a 91, Kinsley Gansauer carded a 98, and Addison Lever finished with a 107.

A phenomenal day for the Lady Wildcats, who take home the team championship from Carlyle.
