The Franklin Park Bobcats fell to Wesclin 6-0. Lucas Crawford of Wesclin was great allowing 2 hits and striking out 7. For Salem, Easton Henson and Maxsen Tiemann each singled. Nolan Krutsinger threw 4.2 allowing 2 hits and no earned runs. Easton Keller and EJ Wolfe finished the game in relief. 5 errors did the Bobcats in defensively. Salem will host Mt Vernon Monday for 8th grade day.
Iuka earned a 14-13 walk-off win yesterday on a Gibson Collins single. Hosea Weems drove in 4 runs. Garrett Hunter went 3-4. Zachariah Jones, Collins and Eli Bookhout all had multiple hits. Gibson was the winning pitcher giving up 3 hits and 2 runs over 2.2.
Patoka/Odin beat Raccoon 10-3 scoring 8 runs in the first inning. Nolan Eddy drove in a run with Grant Eddy and Brody Spicer adding hits for the Mohawks. Grant Eddy was the winning pitcher. Carter Thompson pitched scoreless relief.
The SC Falcons baseball team will play at Windsor/Stew-Stras.
