The Franklin Park softball team beat Flora on the road 10-4. Josey Gibson drove in 2 runs going 2-4. Skylar Gaston was the winning pitcher giving up 2 hits and 1 earned run in the complete game.
The St Mary/Willow Grove Wildcard softball team is at Waltonville. The Wildcards are coming off a 16-0 win over Odin yesterday. Devyn Dodillet-Tomlianovich allowed no runs and no hits in 2 innings with 7 strikeouts. Briella Alcorn threw an inning of relief in the win. Destiny Black drove in 4 runs on 3 hits.
Raccoon fell to the St Mary/OBR Lady Knights 9-4. Nadea Crist drove in 2 runs to lead Raccoon who also got hits from Izzy Hall, Mya Hanke, Crist, Emerie Cluck and Julianna Rushing. Crist struck out 14 and gave up just 2 earned runs in the loss.
Iuka fell to Sandoval 8-3. Lilly Brewer had an Iuka hit and stole 3 bases. Shaylee Vest was the starter giving up 3 earned runs over 4 innings and struck out 11.
South Central beat Sacred Heart Effingham 15-0 in three innings with Skylar Webster throwing another Lady Falcon no-hitter. Raelyn Parker went 1-3 with 3 RBI and 2 runs scored. Lexy Garrett and Ellie Williams each drove in 2. Violet Skibinkski and Rya Sidwell also drove in runs.
