The Salem Fire Protection District was called to a small grass fire on the Mark Huelsmann property in the 3200 block of Cumberland Lane on Lake Centralia early Saturday night.
Fire officials say the fire began in a burn pile and was spreading out of control down a tree line. No buildings were threatened.
The fire call came in at 6:35 Saturday night.
