A 41-year-old Centralia man was injured in a car-motorcycle crash on West Main and Hotze Road on the Westside of Salem early Friday evening.

Salem Police say Joseph Lilly of East Third was westbound on West Main, stopped at a red light at the Hotze Road intersection, when his cycle was hit in the rear by a car driven by 73-year-old Gwendolyn Brough of Dogwood Lane in Salem.  The impact pushed the motorcycle into the intersection, with the bike eventually becoming stuck under the front left corner of the car.

Lilly reportedly was up and walking around when emergency help arrived.  United Medical Response took him to Salem Township Hospital to treat his injuries.  Brough escaped injury.

The Salem Fire Department was also called to the scene.  The crash occurred at 6:30 Friday night.
