Selmaville is 7-1 on the season after their 8-0 shutout win over Raccoon. Isaac Knapp led the Rockets going 3-4. Jacob Butts was the winning pitcher allowing no hits over 3 innings with six strikeouts. Simon Fischer added an RBI. The Rockets travel to Carlyle today.
South Central beat the Wildcats 4-1. Jayden Gullion had 2 hits and 2 RBI for the Falcons in the win. Kash Hall was the winning pitcher allowing a hit and one run over 3 innings. Luke Guerrettaz pitched 4 innings of relief. Tanner Sporleder and Leighton Sporleder had 2 hits each.
Patoka lost for the first time this season, falling to Cisne 5-3. The game was tied at 3 in the bottom of the sixth when Cisne got a 2-run triple to take the lead. John Garrett, Nolan Eddy and Brody Spicer had 2 hits each for Patoka. Eddy and Spicer also drove in a run.
The Franklin Park baseball team is at home today hosting Breese. South Central Falcons welcome Ramsey.
