Salem Police arrested 47-year-old Robert Dailey of North Illinois Street in Salem for alleged aggravated domestic battery.  He is accused of excessive discipline to his child that resulted in marks on his body.  A family member reported the incident to police on August 17th, and police arrested him when he came to Hawthorn School on Friday to pick him up.  Dailey was taken to the Marion County Jail to await a final decision on charges and a first appearance in court on Monday.

Salem Police arrested 41-year-old Allen Rynes of West Green Street Road in Centralia City on two counts of criminal trespass to property and obstructing identification.  Rynes is accused of being on Marion County Housing Authority property in the 800 block of Seneff, where he was earlier banned.  He was gone when police arrived but was later located on Trenary Street. Rynes is accused of giving police a false name, resulting in the obstruction charge.  Police took him to the Marion County Jail.
