Marion County Sheriff’s Deputies say both drivers were injured in a two-vehicle crash Thursday afternoon at the Green Street and Odin Road intersection.
Preliminary information indicates a pickup driven by 35-year-old Donnie Keller was stopped at the northbound stop sign at Zion Hill Road before pulling across Green Street Road and being struck in the side by a car driven by 27-year-old Latavia Maines of Cedar Avenue in Salem.
Both Maines and a nine-year-old female juvenile in her car were taken to SSM Health St. Mary’s Hospital for treatment of injuries. Air Evac was called to the helipad at St. Mary’s Hospital in Centralia by Life Star ambulance, but it was not immediately clear if anyone was transported to a regional hospital.
Keller escaped injury in the crash.
The Centralia Fire Protection District assisted at the scene.
The crash was first reported at 3:43 Thursday afternoon.
