Patricia Justine Culver, beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on Friday, August 7th, 2026, at the age of 77. Born on Wednesday, May 18th, 1949, in Centralia, Illinois, the daughter of Clifford Ryan and Catherine (Snow) Ryan. Patricia married Roger Culver on February 21, 1981 and he survives her passing.
Patricia worked at KAS Potato Chip Factory for many years and later worked at Little Fuse. She had a talent for sewing and making crafts that brought joy to many, and her creations are treasured mementos of her creative spirit. She enjoyed playing Dice Games and solving Jigsaw Puzzles. Patricia was baptized of the Baptist Faith. Above all, she loved spending time with her family, who were the center of her world.
She is survived by her loving children: Her son, Clifford Phillips, of Elmhurst, Il, and two daughters; Catherine Oliver and husband, Wayne, of Carlyle and Angela Culver of Centralia. A sister, Sharon Timmons and husband, Ed of Wamac. Patricia’s legacy continues through her numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, along with several nieces and nephews who fondly remember her love and kindness.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Clifford and Catherine Ryan; granddaughter: Ashley Oliver, sister: Nancy Lynch Metcalf, nephew: Mike Wilson, and niece: Tracy Evans. Despite these losses, she managed to carry her warm spirit and compassionate nature forward, touching the lives of many.
A Visitation will be held on Monday, August 17, 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Sutherland-Garnier Funeral Home in Centralia. Patricia’s family welcomes friends and loved ones to share in their memories and celebrate her remarkable life.
