Centralia City Firemen say they were able to confine a fire behind an electrical panel to a small hole in a wall of a home Wednesday morning.
Firemen were called to a home owned by Roosevelt McGee of 835 Dimick Street when the fire was discovered. Jessica Lopez had just moved in a few days earlier and smelled smoke. She asked a relative to see if that could find an issue and the fire was discovered. The relative then turned off the electric panel, everyone exited the home and the fire department was called.
Firemen say the fire in the drywall was quickly extinguished.
The fire call came in at 8:20 Wednesday morning.
