In 1a, North Clay will take on Putnam County after their on the DeKalb Super Sectional at NIU over Galena 7-4. They will play the 2nd game of the day of on Friday at 1pm in the first semifinal following Jacksonville Routt and Tremont in the 10am game. The 1a/2a state tournament is held at Illinois Field at the University of Illinois.
In 2a, Freeburg will take on Harvest-Westminster after they beat Hope Academy at Northwestern Medical Field 13-6. They play at 4pm followed by Ottawa Marquette and St Joseph Ogden at 7pm Friday.
