Carterville won their 2nd state title in 3 years as they knocked off Seneca 3-1 in Saturday’s 2a finals at the Louisville Slugger Complex in Peoria. Caidence Phillips capped off her amazing career with another dominant performance striking out 9 and the only run she allowed was unearned. The Lady Lions finish their season an amazing 39-1.
