Salem High School graduate and SEMO softball standout Delaney Kell has been named MTC Coach of the Year after an impressive first season as head coach of the Odin/Patoka/Sandoval Lady Eagles. Kell’s recognition highlights a successful year for the program, which also saw Annabelle Garrett earn First Team All-MTC honors, while teammates Gwen Belcher, Bella Pearce, and Kenzi Wilkerson were named Honorable Mention. For Kell, one of Salem’s all-time softball greats, the award marks an outstanding start to her coaching career.
