The Marion County Sheriff’s Department reports a 17-year-old Kell juvenile boy was injured in a motorcycle crash late Tuesday afternoon in front of the Kell Fire Station.
The 17-year-old was eastbound on 3rd Street when an ATV slowed in front of him to make a turn. The cyclist swerved to avoid a crash and hit the curb, causing the bike to fall over.
While an Air Evac helicopter had originally been called, it was cancelled when injuries turned out to be minor. He was transported to Salem Township Hospital Emergency Room by United Medical Response.
The crash occurred at 4:30 Tuesday afternoon.
