Mt. Vernon Festivals, Inc. is proud to announce the official theme and logo for the 2026 Mt. Vernon Fall Fest, set for September 25–26. The theme, “Stars, Stripes & Autumn Nights,” celebrates the spirit of America while embracing the warmth, traditions, and community pride that have made Fall Fest one of Southern Illinois’ premier annual events.
The newly unveiled logo features patriotic red, white, and blue elements intertwined with stars and flowing stripes, reflecting both the excitement of the festival and the nation’s milestone celebration. The 2026 event will serve as a special tribute to America’s 250th birthday, honoring the values, history, and freedoms that unite communities across the country.

Festival organizers say the patriotic theme will be reflected throughout the event with decorations, entertainment, activities, and special recognitions that celebrate both America’s heritage and the vibrant culture of Southern Illinois.
The annual Mt. Vernon Fall Fest attracts thousands of visitors from across the region and features live entertainment, food vendors, arts and crafts,, family-friendly activities, community exhibits, and more.
