The Wildcats won game one 7-0 behind the pitching of Nolan Krutsinger. The lefty threw a complete game no hitter with 9 strikeouts. At the plate, Jacob Butts had 2 hits and 3 rbis. Kash Hall had 2 hits, scored twice and drove in one. Maxsen Tiemann doubled and scored while Maddox Lograsso singled and scored once. Kaden Williams and Isaac Knapp both singled while Krutsinger scored once and drove in one. Weston Crouse scored twice while Zach Jones had an rbi.
In game 2, the Wildcats trailed 6-5 going into the last inning before erupting for 12 runs and winning 17-8. Butts led the offensive attack with 3 hits including a double and 6 rbis. Knapp had 4 hits including a double, scoring 3 runs with 1 rbi. Brantley Brumfield had 2 hits including a double, scoring twice with a rbi. Krutsinger had a single, scoring 3 runs with 2 rbis. Izac Holsapple and Tiemann both had a single, run scored and 1 rbi. Crouse singled and scored twice while Jones singled once and scored a run. Hall scored twice with an rbi, Williams scored once and Lograsso had 1 rbi. Knapp started on the mound going 2 2/3 with 2 earned runs and 3 strikeouts. Hall went 1/3 with a strikeout, Tiemann went 1 inning with 2 earned runs and 1 strikeout and Crouse got the win in relief going 2 innings with 2 earned runs and 2 strikeouts.
The Wildcats are back in action next weekend in Marion at the Oasis Sports Complex.
