The Salem 13u almost erased all of a 14-run deficit but ended up falling 16-11 to TTown.
Salem had the tying run up in the bottom of the 6th in a 14-11 game but couldn’t complete the comeback.
Brantley Brumfield led the offense with a double, triple and 3 RBi. Kaden Williams had 2 hits including a double, Maxsen Tiemann also had 2 hits. Weston Crouse singled and scored 3 runs while Isaac Knapp also singled and scored twice. Nolan Krutsinger drove in 2 and scored 3 runs, Jacob Butts had 2 RBI and Maddox Lograsso scored twice.
Weston Crouse was great in relief throwing 4 innings allowing no earned runs.
Salem will play a double header at North Clay on Saturday.
