Jonathan Michael Hatch passed away on Thursday, May 21st, 2026, at the age of 40. He was born on January 19, 1986, to Steven and Lynda (Ratliff) Hatch.

He is survived by his grandmother, Glenda Johnson of Mt. Vernon, and leaves behind his devoted mother, Lynda Hatch Elenor, and her husband, Simon of Hopkinsville, KY, and his father, Steve Hatch of Alma, and his special friend, Rosie Miller of Central City. Jonathan will be dearly missed by his brothers, Jeremiah Hatch of Hopkinsville, KY, Joshua Hatch of Alma, and Tony O’Rourke and his wife Emily of St. Louis, MO.

He is also survived by his sisters, Rachel Hatch of Vandalia, Katelyn Dixon and husband Ian of Pocahontas, and Ryan Atchison and husband Derek of Greenville, a step-sister, Staci Alsabrook of Collinsville, OK. His legacy continues in the hearts of his numerous nieces and nephews, who will forever remember their dear uncle.

A memorial celebration to honor Jonathan’s life will be held on June 27, 2026, at 2:00 pm at the Family Life Church in Mt. Vernon, IL, allowing family and friends to come together, share memories, and celebrate the joy he brought to their lives.
