The Salem Wildcats have added a home baseball game to the schedule this afternoon when they host Wesclin to Salem Field.
Orphans Hold Off Rams
Centralia trailed Mt Vernon 6-3 heading into the top of the fifth, when Centralia would plate 8 runs and hold off the Rams 11-8, the biggest blow in the inning was a Keagan Burleyson double that drove in 2. Archie Goewey also homered for Centralia. Ty Pierce had a double, triple going 3-4 with 2 runs scored. Ryker Perigo homered for the Rams. Goewey drove in 3 runs for the winners, Michael Organ also had an RBI. Centralia is at home against Fairfield.
CORLHS Shuts Out Ramsey
Brayden Albert threw a shutout as Christ Our Rock beat Ramsey 8-0. He also hit a 2-run homer and finished with 3 RBI along with Noah Kenley. Blake Hanke went 4-5 at the top of the order.
SC Falls to BSE
South Central dropped a wild game to Brownstown/St Elmo 5-4. The Bombers took a 5-2 lead in the top of the seventh breaking a 2-2 tie. The Cougars would mount a comeback, Hudson Moore would hit a 2-run homer in the bottom of the inning but they came up just short. Ryker Dodson went 2-4 for SC with a pair of doubles. The Cougars host Cumberland today.
Walker Shuts Down Cisne for OPS
Odin/Patoka/Sandoval held off Cisne 2-0. Kyan Walker was great on the mound getting the complete game win. He scattered 4 hits and struck out 8 with only 2 walks. Ben Spencer, Brady Cain, Beau Chapman, Blaize Murray and Kody Burks each had a hit. Chapman and Burks drove in the OPS runs. OPS hosts Webber today.
