Lady Cats Fall To Columbia, Host Lady Eagles Today
The Salem Lady Cats lose a tough one 7-2 at Columbia. Morgan Honerkamp took the loss while striking out 3. At the plate Isabella Decker had 2 hits, Kendall Zimmermann, Alivia Rasul and Emma Lipe had hits. Decker drove in both runs on a double. Salem will host Columbia at Tully Park today.
Lady Spartans Win MTC Softball Tournament
Waltonville/Sesser Valier dominated the MTC Tournament championship game beating Woodlawn 12-1. Every starter had at least 2 hits with a run and RBI. Waltonville is now 27-3 on the season.
CORLHS Falls To Greenville
Greenville scored 5 runs in the fifth inning opening up a big lead as they beat Christ Our Rock 14-4 outhitting the Lady Stallions 14-2 and Christ Our Rock made 5 errors in the game. Lean Crompton drove in a run along with Leah Leah Kleiboeker and Bailey Pingsterhaus drove in runs along with Camryn Nolte. Christ Our Rock is at Metro East Lutheran this afternoon.
