A 21-year-old Salem woman has been arrested by Salem Police for driving under the influence, aggravated battery to a police officer, and resisting arrest. Jordyn Chapman of Woodlawn Drive was stopped at Boone and Broadway after she allegedly swerved in front of a Salem officer who turned around and stopped her. Details on the altercation with police at the scene and later with correctional officers at the jail are not yet available.
40-year-old Amber Taylor of Oak Grove in Salem was arrested by Salem Police on an outstanding 2016 traffic warrant. She later posted $250 bond and was released.
61-year-old Marion Whitelow of South Brookside in Centralia was arrested by Salem Police for driving on a suspended license. Whitelow was later released on a notice to appear in court.
