Two of the ten students recently named Illinois FFA Top 10 Chapter Presidents in recognition of excelling in their role as an Illinois FFA President are from South Central Illinois.

They are Haven Cash of the North Clay FFA and Maliah Reichmann of the Nashville FFA.

Illinois Farm Bureau Youth and Collegiate Program Coordinator Lori Jackson says the outstanding students represent the future of agriculture and leadership in Illinois.  She adds their commitment, innovation and service to their chapters and communities embody the value of FFA, and they are proud to celebrate their accomplishments.

The FFA Chapter President award is sponsored by the Illinois Farm Bureau State Young Leader Committee and recognizes presidents from FFA chapters across Illinois for their outstanding efforts and involvement throughout the past year. Of the 44 applicants, the Top 10 and gold award winners will be recognized at the Illinois FFA State Convention in June.
