In the second game, Mt Vernon fell to the hosts 5-4 when Graves County got a 2 run walk-off single to win it. Maxwell Nowak had 3 hits for Mt Vernon. He also took the loss going six innings allowing just 1 earned run on the day and just 2 hits.
The Rams are 10-9 on the season and are back in action Tuesday hosting Cahokia in South 7 Conference action.
