The girls came out as champions and the boys were runner up to Granite City.

 

For the boys, Silas Lux threw a PR in the shot put winning in 55’9.50’’.  Darryll Kaufman was 5th also scoring points.  Trey Clark threw a PR 160’ as he was 2nd in the discus.  Payton Gullion matched his PR clearing 6ft in the high jump and nearly had 6-2 as he was 2nd with Avery Gullion 8th.  Payton also PR’d in the 400 in 54.12 to finish 6th.  The 4×400 team of Gullion, Gullion, Alex Spencer and Hunter Malan nipped Granite City in the final race of the night in a PR time of 3:30.15 which is also under the state standard.  Spencer PR’d in the 800m in a time of 2:00.03 with Malan 2nd.

 

On the girls side, Carly Veach won the 110 and 300m hurdles as well as the 200m.  Freshman Emily Parrett won the shot put with Ella Smith 3rd.  Hannah Smith won the discus with Parrett 2nd, Kinsey Jarrett was 2nd in the long jump and triple jump.  Finley Puricelli was 3rd in the high jump.
