Bella Pearce struck out 11 batters as the pitcher led OPS Lady Eagles 2026 past North Clay 8-2 on Thursday. Pearce gave up four hits and two runs over seven innings while walking four.
Gwen Belcher collected three hits in five at bats in the win. Belcher doubled in the fourth inning, singled in the first inning, and singled in the sixth inning.
OPS Lady Eagles 2026 got on the board in the top of the first inning after Pearce singled to center field, Abigail Draper lined out, and North Clay committed an error, each scoring one run.
OPS Lady Eagles 2026 added one run in the second after Kenzi Wilkerson grounded into a fielder’s choice.
Lauryn Snell took the loss for North Clay. The pitcher went six innings, surrendering eight runs (seven earned) on 14 hits, striking out three and walking two.
