Lady Cats Fall At Freeburg
The Salem Lady Wildcats dropped their Cahokia contest at Freeburg 10-0. Katee Sellers, Isabella Decker and Kendall Zimmermann all had Salem hits. Morgan Honerkamp was the starting pitcher with Kenley Cripps working in relief. The Lady Cats are back at it today at Tully Park when they host Johnston City.
Annies Win Again
The Centralia Annies are 11-2 overall after their 8-3 win over Carbondale. The Annies scored 2 in the first and added 6 more in the fourth to help them to the win. Rorie Lambert tripled and drove in a run. Kaylee Bowdler and Mackenzie Perez each drove in 2 runs. Addisyn Dukes doubled along with Josie Venturini. Emrie Quick allowed just 6 hits and 3 runs in her complete game win.
OPS Shuts Out Wayne City
The OPS Lady Eagles shutout Wayne City 10-0. Kenzi Wilkerson led OPS driving in 3 runs with a double. Anabelle Garrett, Bria Thompson, Kallee Johnson, Gwen Belcher and Abigail Draper added hits. Bella Pearce was the winner allowing 3 hits in her 5 inning shutout.
Torrence’s 1st Homer Helps CORLHS To W
Liv Torrence hit her first high school home run as Christ Our Rock beat Marquette 19-9. Torrence homered in the second inning on a shot to center, part of her 3-hit day. Leah Crompton drove in 4 Stallion runs. Katie Oelze had 2 hits as well. Christ Our Rock will take on St Elmo/Brownstown this afternoon.

Tobins Walk Off, DeSmith’s Pitching Leads Lady Rams to Win over Woodlawn
Danicah Tobin hit an RBI walk-off single in the bottom of the 7th as the Mt Vernon Lady Rams improved to 11-4 with a 4-3 win over Woodlawn. Taylor DeSmith allowed 6 hits and no earned runs in her complete game. Alyssa Roddy was great for Woodlawn giving up 3 earned in her outing. Tobin went 2-4 on the day and Elaina Schulte also had 2 hits for the Lady Rams and Allie Sweeten doubled. Mt Vernon is at Greenville today.
