The Salem Green Team will hold its annual electronic recycling day this Friday.
Those who need to get rid of antiquated electronics can bring the items to the vocational area of the high school along Rotan Street from nine to noon. Students will be available to help you unload items.
Anything with a cord can be recycled with the exception of old-style TVs and computer monitors that have the electronics on the rear. Smoke detectors also cannot be accepted.
The goal is to keep as much of the electronic items out of landfills and allow for parts to be recycled for reuse.
