Salem native Taylor Ice delivered a standout performance as the Olivet Nazarene University women’s golf team captured the 2026 Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference (CCAC) Championship at University Park Golf Course—marking the program’s first conference title since 2022.
Ice, a Salem graduate, played a pivotal role in the victory. She tied for fourth place overall, posting a two-day total of 166, and earned CCAC All-Tournament Team honors for her efforts. Her consistency across both rounds helped anchor an Olivet Nazarene squad that rose to the occasion when it mattered most, showcasing depth, composure, and championship-level play.
The team’s win not only secures conference bragging rights but also punches their ticket to the NAIA Women’s Golf National Championships. Olivet Nazarene will compete May 19–22 at Eagle Crest Golf Club in Ypsilanti, Michigan, where they’ll look to carry their momentum onto the national stage.
For Ice, the achievement adds another milestone to her growing collegiate career, highlighting her development into one of the team’s key contributors and a reliable presence in high-pressure tournament play.
