Lady Cats fall 14-12 to Hamilton Co to open, we return to play at 1. Jaelyn Keller, Isabella Decker, Katee Sellers all had 3 hits, Alivia Rasul and Morgan Honerkamp had 2 hits, Marah Johnson, Kendall Zimmermann and Emma Lipe all added hits. Keller, Johnson and Decker all had homeruns, Keller’s 6th, Johnson’s 4th and Decker’s 3rd. Rasul, Johnson and Keller all drove in 3, Decker with 2 RBIs an Zimmermann added an rbi.
Lady Cats drop a heartbreaker 4-3 to DuQuoin. Kenley Cripps was fantastic on the mound, striking out 1, but only 2 earned runs. Marah Johnson and Isabella Decker had 2 hits, Katee Sellers and Emily Jones at 1 hit a piece. Marah Johnson clubbed her 5th home run, Alivia Rasul and Emma Lipe also drove in runs. We return to action on the road Monday when we travel to Effingham to play St Anthony.

Okawville & Central Get 2 Wins At SC Quad
Okawville and Breese Central both came away with 2 wins in a four team softball double header Saturday at Deep Rock Fields in Kinmundy.
Okawville beat Altamont 14-4 and South Central 7-6. That win came on an unearned run in the 7th inning. Lauren Johnson drove in 2 SC runs in the loss.
Breese Central edged SC 1-0 on an unearned run in the sixth and beat Altamont 10-0.
