The Franklin Park Varsity Boys and Girls golf team traveled to Mt. Carmel Thursday for a match against Mt. Carmel, Saint Mary’s, Carmi, and New Hope.
On the boys side, they finished second. EJ Wolfe won the match shooting a 39. Grant Squibb finished 9th overall shooting a 48. Sawyer Clark was the third score counted for Franklin Park with a 49.
On the girls side, they finished first overall. All 3 girls medaled in the match with Kinsley Gansauer finishing 2nd overall shooting a 50. Skylar Gaston finished 5th overall shooting a 58. Kennedy Knapp finished in 9th place with a 60.
Franklin Park also sent 4 boys to Red Bud for a match against Red Bud and Summersville. Lewis Eddy was the low scorer of these boys with a 53.
Franklin Park will travel to Herrin on Monday for a match with a 1:30p start.
