Salem Wildcats 10U had trouble keeping up with South Central Storm Chasers 10U in a 15-2 loss on Thursday at 1400 S College Street Rd.

 

South Central Storm Chasers 10U got on the board in the top of the first inning after an error scored one run, Jaxon homered to left field, scoring two runs, and Bryant drew a walk, scoring one run.

 

South Central Storm Chasers 10U scored five runs on four hits in the top of the third inning. Grayson singled, scoring one run, Bryant singled, scoring one run, an error scored one run, Hunter drew a walk, scoring one run, and a wild pitch scored one run.

 

South Central Storm Chasers 10U scored five runs on one hit in the top of the fourth inning. Kolten drew a walk, scoring one run, Issac singled, scoring one run, an error scored two runs, and an error scored one run.

 

Beckham Detmer led things off on the hill for Salem Wildcats 10U. The starter gave up two hits and four runs (two earned) over one-third of an inning, striking out none and walking one. Jaxon led things off on the hill for South Central Storm Chasers 10U. The right-handed pitcher allowed three hits and two runs (one earned) over two innings, striking out four and walking none.

 

Jace Alden, Edison Sager, Ryder Mulvany, and Payton Etnier each collected one hit for Salem Wildcats 10U.

 

Jaxon provided pop in the middle of the lineup, and led South Central Storm Chasers 10U with four runs batted in. The cleanup hitter went 2-for-3 on the day. South Central Storm Chasers 10U worked the count all day, piling up seven walks.

 

Salem Wildcats 10U welcome Centralia Mud Dawgs 10u on Saturday for their next game.
