Centralia beat Mascoutah 6-1 as Mackenzie Perez hit a first inning solo homer that helped the Annies to get off and running. Kinsley Hawthorne also homered for Centralia. Emrie Quick was the winning pitcher allowing 3 hits over 7 innings. Pyper Chapman drove in 2 runs. Hawthorne, Kaylee Bowdler and Perez had 2 hits each. The Annies are at Waltonville today.
Christ Our Rock Falls To Woodlawn
Yesterday, Peyton Jett went 3-4 including a double but it wasn’t enough as Christ Our Rock fell to Woodlawn 13-7. Leah Crompton, Leah Kleiboeker and Katie Oelze added Stallion hits. Alyssa Roddy was the winning pitcher going all 7 innings allowing 4 earned runs with 5 strikeouts. Zaylee Kirkpatrick drove in 2 runs. Avery England and Zailee Hughes had 2 hits each. Christ Our Rock will play Father McGivney today.
Lady Cougars Fall To WSS
South Central fell to Windsor/Stew-Stras 8-1. Maddie Peddicord had 2 hits and drove in the lone SC run. Kinlee Thompson and Annie Ruholl added 2 hits each. Peddicord took the loss allowing 6 hits in 4.1 with Thompson finishing the final 5 outs.
