The Franklin Park Lady Bobcats will add a Class L state volleyball championship to their trophy case as they pulled off a three-set thriller at Pinckneyville High School to beat Wolf Branch in the finals 17-25, 25-22, 15-13.
Salem beat DuQuoin in the semifinals in another 3 set nail biter 25-23, 24-26, 18-16. That was after beating Herrin easily in their opening match 25-11, 25-7.
