They fell to Mater Dei 13-1. The Knights would take command with a 6-0 lead in the top of the 2nd. Ryker Dodson and Kaiden Harell each had a hit and Sebastian Kruger drove in a run.
It wasn’t any better for the Cougars against Vandalia as the Vandals would prevail 10-0. Ryker Dodson, Sebastian Kruger, Garrett Shumate and Aiden Hoover had hits for SC. Andrew Casey led Vandalia with 3 RBI going 2-2. Casey and Carroll each had 2 hits for Vandalia.
