The 7/8 Indoor team delivered an exciting night of soccer Friday, going 1-1 against tough competition and showcasing grit, skill, and determination throughout both matches.
They came out firing in a dominant 7-3 victory over the Tigers. Defensively, Baylie Purcell, Will Pittman, Keagan Williams, Zane Wesselmann, and Rylan Smith were absolute standouts—relentless in their effort, winning battles, and consistently taking back possession. On the offensive end, Gabby Gaston found the back of the net, while Kayne Rhynes put on a spectacular performance, scoring six goals for an incredible double hat trick.
The second match was a hard-fought battle that ended in a narrow 2-3 loss against Barrett Wildcats. Holden Etheridge, Micah Rollins, Rhynes, Gaston, and Smith led a strong and persistent offensive push, creating opportunities and keeping the pressure on. Rhynes and Rollins each scored to keep the team within reach, while Caleb Dice rose to the challenge in goal with multiple impressive saves under heavy pressure.
Overall, it was a night full of energy, teamwork, and standout performances from the entire squad.
