Lady Cats Fall To TTown
The Salem Lady Wildcats fell to TTown yesterday 16-1. Morgan Honerkamp and Kenley Cripps pitched for Salem. Isabella Decker had the lone hit and drove in the only run. Marah Johnson did get on base twice.
Tobin & DeSmith Lead Lady Rams Over ZR
Danicah Tobin had 3 hits as Mt Vernon beat Zeigler Royalton 13-1. Taylor DeSmith struck out 10 batters giving up just 3 hits and 1 run over 5 innings. The Lady Rams broke the game open with 5 runs in the 2nd inning which included a DeSmith home run. Mt Vernon pounded out 17 hits in the win with Tobin and Mia Porter collecting 3 each. Addi McMillen, Allie Sweeten and Tobin each drove in 2 runs. Mt Vernon plays at Herrin today.
Crompton’s 2 HR Day Leads CORLHS Over North Clay
Leah Crompton hit 2 home runs and drove in 2 runs as Christ Our Rock beat North Clay 18-5. Katie Oelze earned the win allowing 3 earned runs over 7 innings and struck out 8. Liv Torrence drove in six runs going 4-6. Bailey Pingsterhaus had 4 hits as well. The Lady Stallions host Maryville Christian today.
OPS Routs Cisne
Kenzi Wilkerson went 3-3 as Odin/Patoka/Sandoval beat Cisne 19-4. OPS scored 11 runs in the 3rd inning on their way to the win. Bella Pearce earned the win allowing six hits and 4 runs over four innings with 6 strikeouts. Bella Pearce drove in 3 runs along with Wilkerson. Aubri Landreth had 2 hits. OPS hosts Breese Central tomorrow.
