Trinity Stewardson was the site for another Class S Regional. Patoka defeated St. Peter 25-16, 25-18. Maybree Goldsboro had 8 points, 4 aces & 6 kills, Adley Martin had 8 points & 5 aces, Mabree Phelps had 7 kills.
In the Regional Championship Patoka lost to Trinity Lutheran Stewardson in 2 14-25, 17-25. Charlee Murray had 7 points & 3 aces, Mabree Phelps had 5 kills & Maybree Goldsboro had 3 kills. Trinity Stewardson made the finals after a straight sets win over Iuka in their semifinal. Patoka ended the season with a 13-10 record.
In Class S at Spring Garden, the hosts beat Bethel (26-24, 25-16) to advance and lost to to-seed Summersville (25-22, 25-6). St Mary’s Mt Vernon knocked off Opdyke/Belle Rive in their semifinal (25-19, 25-17). The championship is set for tomorrow.
In Class M tonight at Pinckneyville, Sesser Valier will take on the hosts followed by Christopher taking on Zeigler Royalton.
